Everyone is a junky

Everyone is a junky.  A junkie.  Hooked on junk.  The only question is, What is the junk?

Would anyone read this blog?

Why?

I'm re-writing my response. I read it a third time and it just wasn't coming across the way I meant - I didn't want it to be misinterpreted, so I'll stick to giving the reason I would read it.
I would be compelled to read it because I would want to know if it was discussing junkies, as in fanatical Chicago sports fans or drug addicts. If it turned out to be sports junkies, I would be disappointed because it's not taboo or stigmatized - which is sort of a sick reason, kind of like having to look at the scene of an accident. Many use the word to describe fanatical collectors or anyone totally devoted to some interest or hobby such as music, cooking, etc. and it is not ambiguous at all. When used to describe an addict, it leaves a lot of questions unanswered for me. Either way, junkies, as defined in the dictionary, have an insatiable interest and are very devoted to their interest, whatever that interest or recreational hobby may be. Interesting. Never really thought about or compared the two meanings before.
